Veterans Benefits & Veteran Readiness

GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government Web site at http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.

Selected academic programs of study at Faith International University are approved for students who qualify for the GI Bill®, Active Duty/Selected Reserves and Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance Program, VA Veteran Readiness and Employment, and Tuition Assistance.

Each program depends on a person’s eligibility and duty status and is administered differently. Please contact the seminary’s VA School Certifying Official (888-777-7675, ext. 122) for general information. Prospective students can also be served by contacting the Admissions Office (888) 777-7675, ext. 121 or admissions@faithiu.edu

HOW TO APPLY

To apply for GI Bill® Education Benefits, contact the United States Department of Veterans Affairs and speak with a Veterans Benefits Counselor at 1-888-GI-BILL-1 (1-888-442-4551) or visit their website at benefits.va.gov/gibill. The website contains a wealth of information about the various education benefits administered by the US Department of Veterans Affairs. The VA is responsible for determining eligibility and making decisions regarding payment of education benefits.

Once you have applied for benefits, the VA will mail you a copy of your Certificate of Eligibility after they have determined your eligibility. Upon its availability, provide a copy to the institution as well as a copy of your DD-214 (if applicable). A student must be admitted to the institution and registered for courses in a degree-seeking program in order to be certified for veteran’s and dependent education benefits. To get started contact the Department of Veterans Affairs in your local area or at the website above.
